I know that after a marathon you're supposed to take things easy for a while, but that's easier said than done!
Monday I went out for a short run, three miles, but didn't take it easy. I decided to push a little on the first mile, so I ran a 7:15 pace, went easy on the second mile, 8:05 pace and then pushed the final mile at a 6:30 pace. I was hurting on Tuesday!
Yesterday I ran an easy four, no idea of the pace but it was sunny and in the mid-60's, just fantastic!
